Erbab Exhibition, in which we held a VIP opening on one of the most important streets of Istanbul, Istiklal Street, hosted a night where the rhythm of the city was felt. After the restoration process of the Han, which has been closed for 15 years, it has been reintroduced to Istiklal by opening its doors with art.
Erbab, where we took part in the installation and venue selection in line with the story of the Exhibition, which we undertook the opening night, took place in the cellar of the historical Rumeli Han. With the stone texture of the cellar and the view to the street from the battlements on it, it was a very dark event, with a depth in which the person can reason with his inner world. The poster, which started from the facade of the inn facing the street, turned into an installation within the space. It flowed into the venue through the 100-meter fabric door, which is a special production, and accompanied the guests to the cellar. In addition to the welcome with an instrumental concert at the entrance of the cellar, personalized lenses were distributed, emphasizing the message of 'take a closer look'. We cooperate with the brewery on the side reserved as the cocktail area in the cellar; Wooden floor decors with iron construction legs providing integrity with the space were used. In order to emphasize the expression of another installation featured in the exhibition; The red wallwasher installations used in the area called the 'heart room' attracted a lot of attention with the effort of the creative team. A new discovery was made in the historical place with the participation of approximately 4000 local and foreign people in the exhibition, which brought a new breath to Istiklal Street and was open for 15 days.
